Destiny's Date
If you knew that talking to the person you have a crush on could cause the apocalypse, would you take that chance? Dean Lawson not only asks himself that question, but answers it loudly for the universe to hear. After twenty years of surrendering to Fate, Dean finally takes charge of his own life and decides to ask out his longtime crush Penelope, stopping at absolutely nothing to prove Fate wrong in this satirical take on the debate between destiny and free will.
This play was originally developed at the University of California, Irvine during the "Writing for Performance" course in the Winter 2022 quarter. Further development took place during the "Playwright/Director Relationship" course in the following quarter.
A staged reading of an abridged version of the play was performed as part of Lyric Repertory's InterACT series for their 2024 summer season.

Adventures at the Adventure Zone, Episode 1: "Welcome to the Adventure Zone"
All his life, Leo has dreamed of working at his favorite theme park: the Adventure Zone... but with the help of one of his superiors and a cynical cashier, he soon finds that the job is more of a rollercoaster than any of his favorite attractions in the park.
This audio play was developed during the "Audio Fiction" course at the University of California, Irvine in the Fall 2020 quarter.

A Night in the Mansion
There are all sorts of rumors and urban legends about the old Gracey Mansion at the edge of town. When a rainstorm forces Silas Crump and his dog Bones to take solace in there, he'll soon find out that ALL of the legends were true... Can he possibly find a way out? Or will he have to survive a night in Gracey Mansion?
Developed at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, this animatic brings to life a small portion of a larger speculative script inspired by Disney's classic Haunted Mansion attraction. This project was created for the non-commercial enjoyment of Haunted Mansion fans and is not sponsored, endorsed by or affiliated with the Walt Disney Company or any of its related subsidiaries.
